Counts reflect the Atlas catalogue. A link may represent a recording, a publication or an association with a local tradition.
The Grimm tales changed across editions. In Hansel and Gretel, the 1857 version extends the 1812 homecoming with a water crossing. Both editions have separate Atlas records. The name Bremen in another tale tells us something different from the place of publication or the animals’ final destination.
