Origin and tradition

Najd, Saudi Arabia · regional record

In the anecdote reported by Al Riyadh in 2016, Juha visits the garden with children. When the wealthy man agrees to give him a palm, Juha ties a rope around it and pretends he is going to carry it off. The man says he cannot carry even one tree. Juha asks how the man expects to bear responsibility for the whole garden. The tree stays put, and the garden goes back to its owner.
