Origin and tradition
A Guernsey fairy legend traced to the Castel area and published in 1903.
At daybreak a traveller walks down to Vazon Bay. He sees a small people emerge from Le Creux ès Faïes and hide in the reeds. The fairies ask him to carry a message to the islanders. A strange sight turns him into a messenger between the visitors and the people who must answer them.
