Two stories on the Armenia page come from Seklemian’s 1898 collection. In The Golden Maiden, a rooster reveals where the girl is hidden. In The Golden-Headed Fish, a speaking animal asks for its own life. Both move people to act. One points to a hidden person and the other leaves a prince to make a choice.
