Chain tale
In short: A tale in which each new request or event depends on the one before it.
Term
How does it work in the tale?
Ommi Sissi’s cat asks for milk. Getting milk takes grass, and getting grass takes water. The cat’s route doubles as a way to remember the tale, because each stop explains why the previous one cannot yet end.
What happens when you reverse the chain?
Ommi Sissi’s cat wants milk first, but to get it the cat needs grass, and to get grass it needs water. Write down the requests in the order you hear them. Then work out which one the cat has to solve first. In a chain tale, the order of requests and the order of solutions can run in opposite directions.
