Origin and tradition
Morne Vitet · setting of the legend
In its report on the Wall House exhibition, Journal de Saint-Barth traces the hen’s journey from Morne Vitet to the Grand Cul-de-Sac pond. Nobody sees it pass between the two places. The story gives the listener two landmarks and one night in between. The gap is what makes people wonder.
