Little One and the Light-Footprint Hurdle Trail
Read it with your name in the appLittle One is six years old and loves two things best: sports and surprises. Every evening before bed, Little One practices bouncing a small red ball in the garden. Tomorrow is the Garden Games, and Little One wants to bounce the ball ten times without dropping it. One, two, three—boing! The ball bounces over the hedge and disappears. Little One runs to the garden gate to look for it.
Right by the gate, something shines on the grass. Little One kneels down. It is a footprint made of light, soft and yellow like a firefly. It has a heel and five tiny toes, and it glows gently. Then another light footprint appears ahead. Then another. 'A trail,' Little One whispers. A trail is a line of marks that shows where someone went. The light footprints make a trail into the little wood.
