Personalised with your child's name
In short: In Black Horse your child is the hero of the story: their name appears throughout, not just in the title, and the wording fits their age and gender. Personalisable stories in the library are also shown to each family with their own child's name, so "Mia's dragon" becomes your child's dragon. Names are handled correctly in every language, including Turkish suffixes and the German genitive.
Why does the name matter?
Children pay closer attention when they hear their own name, and they bond with the hero. It turns the bedtime routine into a moment they look forward to.
How does it work for library stories?
When a family suggests a story for the library, the child's name is replaced with a placeholder. When you open it, the story is read with the name of the child you've chosen — "Mia's dragon" in one home, "Leo's dragon" in the next.
More than one child
You can add up to five child profiles and switch between them with one tap on the home screen; suggestions and stories change to suit that child.
Questions
Can other people see my child's name?
No. Your own stories are private to you. If you suggest a story for the library, the name is removed automatically.
