Little One and the Snail Who Rode the Pillow-Bumper Wagon
Read it with your name in the appLittle One loved two things more than bedtime: superheroes and vehicles. Every evening Little One drew a caped mail truck with soft headlights and quiet wheels. One calm night, a tiny knock came at the garden gate. There stood a snail with a polished shell, a leaf-green satchel, and a stack of letters. “I’m Pip,” said the snail. “I deliver bedtime letters, but the garden path is very long, and the moon is already up.”
Little One studied Pip’s route: six little mailboxes, one at each flowerpot. “A superhero doesn’t rush a snail,” Little One said thoughtfully. “A superhero finds a kinder vehicle.” Little One fetched a red wagon and tied a pillow to the front for a bumper. Pip climbed aboard, satchel snug, and pointed one feeler toward the first mailbox. The wagon rolled softly: clack-whir, clack-whir.
