Illustrated and narrated stories
In short: Black Horse draws a soft, watercolour-style cover for every new story, like a picture book. During the 3-day trial and with Premium you can listen to stories in a warm narrator's voice, with the current paragraph highlighted on screen so your child can follow along. Narration uses natural voices chosen separately for English, German and Turkish.
Pictures
Covers show the most important scene of the story. They contain no text, logos or anything scary. They don't depict your child's real appearance, but a general hero that fits their age and gender.
Listening
Narration is set to be a little slow and calm. Each story's audio is prepared once and then plays instantly — perfect for turning off the lights and just listening.
